Mini satellites.xml
This satellites.xml only contains one transponder per satellite. It's useful when you search for positions with a rotor. When you do this with a complete (standard) satellites.xml, it's annoying to have all those feeder transponders listed which aren't active most of the time.
So this file only lists transponders which are usually active. In addition I've tried to avoid transponders with identical symbol rates on different satellites. So you can be quite sure that you focus the satellite you want and not it's neighbour (happens easily between Astra 1,2 and 3).
All European Ku-band satellites with regular transmissions between 80°East and 45°West are included
Keep in mind that you need a complete satellites.xml if you want to start the automatic scan. So backup the one you have.
The file was compiled 19/12/2005.

Backgound info: What is a satellites.xml?
It's a standard file format for the transponder list. The transponder list contains info about frequencies and symbol rates for each satellite. This is required for automatic scans. Only special receivers support the direct FTP-transfer of the satellites.xml (for example the Dreambox in the /var/etc directory). Some other receivers able to import the file with special software. Most receivers can't do anything with the satellites.xml though.
