BBC World in the USA

I'm very surprised that one of the best 24 hours news channels is not regularly available the USA. BBC World seems far less biassed than Fox News, and offers more background information than CNN in my opinion. However there is no BBC World neither in US cables nor on the US-based satellite TV. The only thing offered is BBC America, which is a mix of entertainment and a few BBC news, but you can't compare it. Nevertheless you can receive BBC World all over the US with a small dish because it is part of two Canadian satellite packages. Subscribing is kind of unofficial, but easily possible. These packages offer something like 300 channels, so they would be quite attractive even without BBC World. More information here.
